My pixel 2 charging port gets quite dirty and debris gets in there. My spigen case doesn't cover the port. Is there a safe way to clean the charging port?

Maybe some rubbing alcohol..
Air blower. Or a very soft brush (e.g. a lens brush).
I'd use a bit of compressed air (or a blower) to gently encourage any foreign debris to vacate the premises.
High-strength rubbing alcohol should be fine, but I'd definitely try a less-wet method (like air) first.
