Pixel 2 XL: How to Install SIM Card

Installing or inserting a SIM card into the Pixel 2 XL is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Grab a SIM removal tool or small paper clip
2. Press it firmly inside the hole located on the left side of the device (NOT the top of the phone) until the SIM tray pops out slightly
3. Pull the SIM tray out with your fingers
4. Place your nano SIM card inside the tray
5. Push the tray back inside the phone
