Pixel 2 XL: How to Turn Off Always On Display

If you want to save some battery or don't find the Pixel 2 XL's "Always On Display" very useful, you can turn it off by following these steps:
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap on Display
  3. Tap on Advanced
  4. Tap on Ambient Display
  5. Tap on Always on to switch it off
