Pixel 2

I have a Note 4 and have really liked it but am ready for a new phone. Not sure between the Note 8 or try a Google Pixel phone. I like the idea of a more pure Android experience but the Note 8 is really expensive!
 
I can't do the Samsung overlay on their phones. And the switching of the buttons really annoys me. Hoping Pixel 2 is worth it.
 
No way I'm going to buy a phone that I can't listen to music (or use the headset in any other way) AND charge the battery at the same time.. Plus I would miss the boom sound... No external SD card either... The only upside will probably be the camera.
 
Pixel 2 has from the facing speakers.
I decided to upgrade to the v30 plus for a few reasons. Even though my 10 is perfect, it is fully rooted S-off running team venom.

Only downside to LG v30 is lack if stereo speakers my last four phones have been htc.

I really wanted the wireless charging
Ip68 and MIL-STD-810G compliant so when I mount it on the motorcycle I don't have to panic when it starts to rain.

My first HTC 10 started to mess up because the vibration of the bike messed up the optical image stabilization.

I am sad to leave htc but they keep messing everything up. They took away front facing speakers, while the speakers on the 10 are good but all they had to do is imorove on the 10 but instead they shat on it with the u 11. I am done waiting on them to get their stuff together because it won't happen. Lg v30 seems to be a home run.
