Pixel 8a?

Has anyone heard rumors about a pixel 8a being produced?

There probably will be one, since they've been doing an "a" model for the last 3 years. But by the same token they usually only announce the "a" model the summer after the main model is released, so if they stick to the same pattern it will be announced no earlier than May 2024, and it's probably too early even for rumours.

I can wait. My thing is the size of the phone. I'd like it to be 6", or 6.1" max.

I've seen some rumors but difficult to tell if any are accurate. Some say the size of the phone is already known, others say there might not be a Pixel 8a.

Until we get closer to spring 2024 anything could be true.

I swapped the pixel 7a for the pixel 8. Same size, but a little narrower. Works much better, and the refresh rate goes up to 120hz.
