Pixelated videos

I don't watch a lot of videos on my phone, but just recently I've watched a few & they're very pixelated. One was a short video I received by text, & just this morning I watched 2 short videos on Facebook, & all are so pixelated they look terrible. These are all 30 seconds or less.

I've used this phone to watch shows or movies on Netflix (but not recently) & I remember them starting out pixelated & correcting themselves in less than a minute - but is there a setting somewhere that might improve these short videos?

My brother is in the Caribbean right now, posting videos that sound cool, but I can't really see anything due to the pixelation [emoji53]

Ok, maybe this has nothing to do with my phone... I'm at work but just logged on to Facebook & the videos are pixelated on my work PC, too.

Garbage in -> garbage out. :D

Also, in order for a video to fit into a text message it's got to be pretty heavily compressed. I'm not surprised that it came through pixelated.

Hey! The text video was my guy showing off his pull up strength at the fair, not garbage [emoji12]

But I definitely agree about the Facebook stuff!

It may be that facebook is reducing quality when it detects a slow connection. I know that the BBC catch up video service does that.
