The Android OS (latest release 4.0.3 and all previous releases) is missing an important function which is found on a Windows PC. That is creating a shortcut on the Home Screen/Desktop pointing to a folder or a file. Linda File Manager. Notice the default directory which is
/mnt/sdcard. If you wish to create a shortcut to an external storage you must change the path to
/Removable (for ICS).
2. Long Press the folder that you want to create the shortcut for. In my example DOCUMENTS.
3. A popup menu will appear. Select
Create shortcut. It
