Help Placing a voice call using headphones

Using iOS, from the lock screen (or pretty much anywhere) I could press and hold a button on the headphones and then say "call home", and the phone would call home.

I can't figure out how to do this with the S5. I don't want to have to pull the phone out of my pocket and unlock it first, I just want to reach up near my ear, press a button and then say the contact to dial.

I used this feature on iOS all the time, and am a little disappointed I can't figure out how to do it with android.

Haven't tried it on the S5 yet.

But on my 'S' phone, all I did was to single touch the connect button on the Blue Parrott headset, wait a minute and the S-voice feature asks "what is your command?"

Never owned a set of headphones with the mini 3.5 mm plug on it.

i will check when i get home.. currently on my bluetooth.. it defaults to s voice when i push the call button..

there is a button on the headphones.. that may do that..

im using the OEM headphones that came with the S5 and they dont do this
