What are the plans? I have unlimited text messaging with T-Mobile, so why would they have messaging plans?
 
There are 2 plans for G1.
25$/month for Unlimited Data on the 3G network and 400 messages
or
35$/month for Unlimited Data and Messaging.
 
Ah ok, so instead of $19.99 for Blackberry Service and $9.99 for Unlimited Text, it would just be $35 for both.

Here is the problem though, I am on a family plan, and my mom also texts.

Will she still have Unlimited Text Messaging?

Im also on a Family Plan with my wife. What they told me was that they will put her on a regular unlimited text plan (10$ month) and they would put me on the G1 service.

That is lame. I will look into it, and I am sure they will officially have everything together closer to launch :D.

I wish I could get some kind of Unlimited Text, Blackberry, and G1 for cheaper than $60.

wait, so why am i paying $30 for blackberry service and $20 for unlimited text right now?
 
How long have you had your plans?

I have had mine since like December 2006, and that was the pricing then, so any new pricing, we were not included, they let you keep the plan rates you have always had.
