I just got the Galaxy S5. I wanted to download and try Plants Vs. Zombies (I want the paid, not free version) but the amazon app store lists it as incompatible with the S5. I have some money sitting there so I would prefer to use Amazon over google play. Google play says it is compatible with my device.
Anyone have ideas? The permissions I found for each seem a bit different and are listed below.
Google Play permissions for the game:
Read only access to device state
Allows sending in-app billing requests and managing in-app billing transactions
Open network sockets
Write to external storage
START_BACKGROUND_SERVICE
Allows verification of Google app Entitlements
Access information about Wi-Fi networks
Achieve low-level access to setting the orientation (actually rotation) of the screen
Access information about networks
PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming
Modify global audio settings
Allows an application to receive messages via Google Cloud Messaging
Amazon App store permissions for the game:
In-app purchases
Photos/Media/Files
test access to protected storage
modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
view Wi-Fi connections
read phone status and identity
change screen orientation
receive data from Internet
change your audio settings
full network access
Google Play license check
control vibration
prevent device from sleeping
view network connections
Is Amazon wrong or should I just get it from Google Play?
Thanks.
