Play AIFF songs?

I have some songs that are in the AIFF format, with the extension ".aif"
Is there a music app or some way to play these on my phone? I use "Music Mod," but that doesn't seem to play them.

Thanks

Yeah, I just used iTunes to make them all mp3's. Then deleted the original AIFF's. Oh well. I'll just be sure not to rip cd's in the AIFF format anymore.

The trade-off is sound quality!
MP3s and MP4s are of course a lot smaller files than AIFF files are. But you lose a lot of sound quality too!
The proof of the pudding is in the eating: listen to something in AIFF and then to the the same thing in MP3 to hear the difference.

I would keep ripping to AIFF if I were you, because it is the highest sound quality. You can always convert/downsample it later as needed. You cannot UPsample. (Well you can, but the sound quality won't get any better).

In order to play APE, CAF, AU, AIFF or Apple Lossless ALAC, a recommended solution is to convert them to Samsung Galaxy friendly audio formats. If you care the quality of the output audio, converting APE, CAF, AU, AIFF or ALAC to FLAC or WAV is recommended. If you do not care about the quality of the music, you can convert APE, CAF, AU, AIFF or ALAC to MP3, a versatile audio format across system and devices.

Faasoft's great "Audio Converter" is probably one of the best commercial choices though. I've been using it for a while now.
