Help Play .mov files ?

I received an .mov video today from my brother. It was most likely taken with his iPhone. Before, I was always able to play the .mov files with Mobo Player downloaded from the Play Store. Since the upgrade, it's not working, though. I only get the sound and a black screen.

I can play the same files on my Galaxy S3 with the same OS (ICS), though, so I know that the video files are OK.

Anyone have any suggestions? I tried a few different players from the Play Store, and they were worse.
