Play Music AND Browse internet?

I thought that the Androiod platform allowed for tru multitasking? I wanted to listen to some music today, and pressed home to access internet and my music stopped?

Can do this no problem on Symbian so am i missing something?

yeh built in on the desire. Listening to a podcast via d-pod, which opens the default music player, then i switch and it stops?

How are you supposed to switch?

I listen to music through Meridian and pods through listen and can browse web (or more commonly use nav gps) all the time.

Could this be a coding problem in d-pod? I've never used it. (Why is it opening in your music player? lazy programming?)

Maybe try opening directly through your music player rather than d-pod.

Sounds like you're doing something wrong. I regularly listen to music and browse the web while the market updates my apps in the background and Music Junk downloads a queue of music.

it looks like it may be the music app itself, as it keeps saying it can't find any music now, although i can browse to it and play it from a file manager.
