play store is not working

my play store isn't working saying "connection timed out" when I have my sim working. my mobile is karbonn A9+

Welcome to Android Forums.

Most likely this means you are experiencing a slow connection, I have had some success in immediately retrying and getting connected. If you have a data cap you should probably limit Google Play app downloads to wifi connectivity.
