Help play store nissing

I have a 7 inch tablet I got early this year. Fore some reason I cant get google play store on it. I did get the old android market on it but my aps aren't in my acct under there. Is there aby way to get the play store in there? If not can I somehow sync my act and aps to the amazon one. I have several other android devices here that are linked,
 
Does the tab have your gmail address in as the account? That sets it up in Play.

As far as the app, running Market should set off an update to Play.
