Playback Audio Quality Issues

I recently purchased a Motorola electrify and have been having some issues with the audio playback. There is a large amount of static or "noise" when listening to music with headphones. I have tried many different music players, and several high quality headphones and earbuds with similar results. The music being played is also high quality 320kbps and 44.1 khz audio. Are there any known issues with this, or any fixes available? All help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what your exact issue might be, but I had audio quality issues on my Motorola Droid2 Global that had not been addressed by Motorola by the time I got rid of the phone.

There is a thread over in the Motorola support forums detailing the problem and some end user solutions including the one I used - Poweramp.

If you are getting static, that's not coming from the software or the mp3 files. That sounds like a bad headphone port.
