I have a Samsung 2011 Smart TV hooked up to the same Wifi network as the phone.
I am able to show photos and videos from the Gallery one at a time and have to swipe through them on the phone for them to show on the TV.
They way I get to show them on the TV is via the TV icon that shows up on the top while viewing the photo.
My TV is supposed to have the DLNA and so does this phone, so I am not clear if it is using that or AllShare.
But if I do a slideshow of the photos on the phone, then it won't change on the TV and is stuck at the last photo shown before the slideshow started.
Have any of you been able to have the slideshow with background music to show up on the TV.
Also, I am not clear how to get any photos and videos from the computer to show up on the phone. It shows my computer as one of the sources when looking at photos in the Gallery with a "nearby devices" tag. But then none of the 56 or so files it found shows any thumbnails or plays.
Has anyone here been able to show photos/videos from the computer onto the phone ? I don't have Allshare software installed on the computer as I don't think it is needed. My Samsung SmartTV does show the photos and videos from the computer on the TV. What I noticed is that it will show whatever is added in the Windows Media Player library(it is a Windows Vista PC)
