playing movies from my sd card on flytouch3

I have just got my flytouch 3 and would like to know if I can load some movies onto an sd card from windows and play them direct with the superpad via the sd card slot.
It states on the blurb that it will play a variety of formats. I have not tried yet as I am waiting for the cards to arrive. However, advance info would be appreciated.
