Playing non-supported files on Allshare WIFI i.e. AVI

I understand .avi is not naturally supported on Android phones, however I've downloaded converters like MK player and QQ player. It plays AVI files when they're dl on my phone but not through ALLshare from a remote device. Yet I can play .mp3 files fine. Any of you have this problem?

All share may only work through the stock video player, meaning you will have to convert your videos to h264 baseline codec to get them to play in there.
