Help Playing Video

I have transfered Mpeg4 video and M4p video files and my G1 can not play them. I assume this is everyone or should I be doing something else that I am not aware of?
 
You need to download a video player from the Market. I use "Meridian Video Player" which is very good and I'd recommend, there are plenty others to choose from though
 
Forget I said that, just realised the codecs you mentioned. They aren't supported on the G1, yet.

If you download the Meridian Video PLayer there is a link, in the help section, to some freeware software which will convert most video into mp4 format which will play on the G1
