PlayStation emulator is now in the market!

This is a great find, Not sure why others aren't jumping on this. I know that as soon as my droid gets here this will be going on my phone. And finding the BIOS is always the hard part. Thank you for the legwork on finding it for us.
 
Umm cant belive theres not a free version like the other emu's would love to make sure it works on my phone before i make the dive to a paid app, as I did with the other emulaters lol (I found my phone just wont play GBA but could play snes and megadrive games fine lol)
If any one knows I have a X10i so will this run on my phone? really want to play FFVII on the move.
Mind you I could go get a psp again lmao
 
Ouch - kind of expensive relatively speaking. I'll wait until I have a free day then give myself a few hours to much around with it on the first day to see if it is worth it.
 
How does all this stuff work and how much does it cost? I haven't played around with the games on mobile phones, including emulators.
 
Ok, so I downloaded final fantasy 7 from dope roms, and it won't play.. gonna try the guide from the xda forums in a bit. You'd figure they would've made it so all games would work..Someone please, if you've gotten a game to work, please let me know what game, where you got it from, and how you got it working.

I am fairly sure it only runs on android 2.0 +
 
on a second note theres one problem... controls...

resident evil... multi touch only works so far... gotta hold r to aim and then x to fire/use knife... but you cant aim look down and then fire due to multi touch limitations..

sound is a bit crackley aswell bt i have found tht with every rom i have used psx and gba...
 
I'm having trouble downloading the app. Its currently stuck at "authorizing purchase" and will not download and install. This has happened quite a few times before and I don't know why or how to get past it once it happens. I really want this app... Can someone help??

I don't know. The market is acting strange. It made me put in a captia earlier to access it. That's never happened before.
 
Got a question:

Final Fantasy 7 is three different disk roms... I've never played it before BUT will psx4droid know to load your last saved state from your disk 1 rom onto the first time you start disk 2?

I've done the heavy lifting for a compatibility wiki, posting this for everyone's benefit. It's quite the blank slate right now, but with the number of people that will be using this app, we need a robust community to deliver feedback on what works on what.

VERY keen to try this on my desire soon as i can spare some time to muck around with it. Only problem i dont have any games around. how large are the files to dl off the web, i would assume they are fairly large

I had exactly the same problem so i emailed the developer about it and i got this automated response back

It seems all orders coming in for psx4droid are on hold by Google at the moment. Not sure why and I just got in contact with a Google rep. I will be updating my Twitter zodttd (zodttd) on Twitter as more information comes in.

so it seems like no one can download it at the moment. I already refunded it once though in hope that it would work the second time so i cant another refund and download it from the other place.
