Help PlayStore doesn't work for Android 4.4.4 on tablet

Hi,

I bought a tablet from this Avalue with Android 4.4.4. There is no PlayStore app and I also can't download it. After some search on the web I manually downloaded the PlayStore apk, allowed unsafe downloaded apps, and installed it.

Now there is a PlayStore icon, however, if I click on it, it opens and closes right away (without error message). I cleared the data and cache and rebooted. It didn't solve the problem though. Somewhere I read that I have to enable it in the settings, but I don't have this button.

Also, I can't install anything. If I go to the PlayStore form the browser and download an app, it tells me that it will be downloaded onto my device soon, then it shows up on the browser page as installed, but it's not on my device.

Any idea on how to solve this?

The basic version of google play store and google play services are pre installed in Android devices.
If you are not seeing these apps anywhere in the device( settings>storage>apps>all/ disabled/ running).
You can do a factory reset
Still the apps are not restored
You can't find it.

Try this also.

Go to settings>security>scroll down to
" unknown sources " tap here a warning
pop-up comes tap on OK button(check).
Now open the link below.
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-store/
From here select last version of the
Google play store and tap on it.
deselect the play store icon.
Scroll down to download icon.
tap on the download icon.
a warning pop-up comes tap on OK .
When the downloaded is going on.
Go to settings>storage>downloads
Tap here and see the downloading link.
After downloading finished,
Tap on the link >install>tap here,
finally tap on the "done" button.
Play store is updated to the latest version.
now return settings>>>>unknown sources,
"uncheck" in the box next to this.
reboot/restart device.

Some Chinese device do not come with anything Google pre-installed.
I do believe that you will also need Google Play Services installed to get the Play Store to work.
If all else fails. Look at Amazon app store.

Yes, Amazon app store is definitely a good one. However, I also recommend checking out 1MobileMarket. It's free and surely compatible...

Frankly you're better off returning it to China for a refund, and get something that actually has Google play on it. 1Mobile Market can be used, also from China, but be very careful of malware, especially games that require or request root permissions to run. But again, I would really recommend returning it, and get something that has Play already on it.
