I am wondering why my play store won't open? I click on the app and it closes aautomatically and says " unfortunately play store has shut down.. what do I do?

Try going into settings, applications (or applications manager), select all the the top. Find Google Play store and select it. You should be able to do clear cache and clear data. Click home button and try opening it again.
If this does not work try this: go into settings, applications (or applications manager), select all the the top. Find Google Play store and select it. Select clear cache, clear data and uninstall updates. This might roll the play store back to market. Click home button and try opening it again if it did roll back to market you will need to find the market app and open it, if it didn't try opening play store again. It should try to upgrade after this and you should be back in business.
