Please Convince Me to get SIII

Hi. I am a Verizon customer and thinking of making the switch from HTC Incredible2 (DINC2) to Samsung Galaxy SIII and need your help in convincing me to switch.

I LOVE the DINC2. What do I love about it?

1. Contact scrollable widgets
2. Adgenda Widgets
3. Facebook photo gets imported to contacts.
4. Battery replacement

How I use my phone
I work from home and my phone is on the changer most of the time. I use my DINC2 for voice approx 5 hours a day. Also use phone for reading (either facebook, news sites, email, etc) maybe 2 hours per day. And GPS when walking 1-2 hours per day.

I know I really don't need the extended battery but feel comfortable knowing that I have it.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII has abiltly to install a replacement battery (which I like). My questions are does it also have:
1. Contact scrollable widgets
2. Adgenda Widgets
3. Facebook photo gets imported to contacts.

I have looked for these widgets but can't seem to find a photo or video of them.

I have moved this thread into the SGS3 forum (American version) for further discussion, since I noticed that you have Verizon.
 
I would never try to convince anyone to buy any gadget... if you need it, you'll know why. If you want it, you'll know whether you can afford it. Otherwise... what else is there? And, if you get it and hate it, who you gonna blame? My guess is that it won't be Ghostbusters.

Go into the store and play with one, and this is android so if it doesn't have what you need off the bat, chances are you can download or purchase from the Play Store. BTW it has so much more to offer.
Direct call from messaging is awesome (be in the middle of a message and think, boy it would be faster just to talk, all you do is put the S3 to your ear and done, it's calling that person

Smart stay is awesome for reading.

Just search the forum for things you love about your s3
 
If you rely on Wifi dont bother, stick with Iphone, I would swap mine for an iphone in a heartbeat as I use wifi about 5 hours a day if it didnt keep losing the signal i'd only need 4hours a total pain in the a55 whatever aleged workaround you use and i've tried them all

What carrier? My wifi works flawlessly.
 
Over 30 million people have already been convinced. Go into a store and play with one as hbryder said. Samsung offers so much more than HTC IMO. You will love the phone.

Yes, I use WiFi 80% of the time and the phone gets a better connection then my laptop and it never loses the signal once connected. I connect to three different WiFi networks depending on which office I'm at and never have an issue.
 
I must say that both my VZW and AT&T S3's connect to wifi quite well, and I have never had any issues with dropping the connection, either.

HTC Sense has the contact and agenda widget as part of the skin. Samsung's TouchWiz does not. You can download apps/widgets that do more or less the same thing. I find that Android Pro Widgets have widgets that resemble some of the widgets in HTC Sense. There is a calendar/agenda widget that I use from APW.

Regarding the Contact scrollable widget on HTC, there are a number of them. APW has the one where you can scroll through the photos of the contacts. I know that Sense has one where it shows the contact plus any updates like messages or emails beside each contact. APW does not have this.

Facebook photos do get imported into the contacts.
