every android calendar/tasks app/widget doesnt meet all my requirements that i had with pocket breeze on my windows mobile phone.
i want my calendar appointments and tasks integrated in a scrollable agenda format on my home page.
i want overdue tasks at the top of Today.
then i want appointments and tasks sorted together by appointment time and tasks' reminder time.
and i want to be able to change the reminders/due dates/etc from the main home page, and not have to go into the program (this requirement isnt essential).
ideally, my main page would look like this:
Today, Tuesday, March 29:
(Task icon) 3/25/11 Return shoes (this would be an overdue task at the top)
(Apt icon) 10:00AM-11:00AM: Meeting at work (Alarm icon for 9:30 reminder)
(Task icon) 3:00PM (Alarm reminder time) Print document (Alarm icon to quickly change due time or alarm reminder time).
Tomorrow, Wednesday March 30 [1]:
(Apt icon) All Day Event - No work / vacation day
(Apt icon) 9:00AM-11:00AM: Visit Mom
(Task icon) 11:30 (Alarm reminder time) Buy Milk
Friday, April 1 [3]:
(Birthday Icon) Joe's Birthday (34)
on my windows phone i could only scroll for 1 month, but at the bottom, i would be able to see Future Tasks with each task preceded with the date, like:
Future Tasks
6/3/11 Get oil change
7/25/11 Change water filter
the reason i prefer tasks integrated this way is that if i dont buy the milk tomorrow, itll show up on thursday as an overdue task. it wouldnt show up on thursday if it had been an appointment.
Jorte and Checkmark both dont integrate tasks with appointments the way i want. the option im looking for would say something like "Sort tasks with appts by reminder." at best, all other integrating apps/widgets will put tasks at the top of today.
also, when i want to schedule an appt, i dont want that date wheel that is in the stock calendar app. i want to see a month calendar and select the date, because its easier to see what date is, for example, 5 weeks from today.
please help me find what i am looking for bc there is no pocket breeze for android.
(and while im here, has anyone found the original Text Twist game for android?)
