Help Please help, advice on what to do with my phone.

So I upgraded from my droid x to the maxx about 1 month or so ago. And ever since it has given me nothing but problems. And these problems have persisted from gingerbread to ICS.

Mainly my signal will drop from 3g to 1x consistently while sitting in one place. This is sitting in my room while on the droid X i had full bars on 3g the entire time.

The next is that half the time apps on the market wont start downloading. It just sits there saying "starting download" and nothing happens. Also when I try to go into application settings to clear cache it doesnt even show the application is running, so thats useless.

Now I know not everyone is having these same problems so Im starting to think its the phone. However I am hesitant to return it because with how good of care I have taken I am afraid their just going to give me a refurb.

I find that rediculous as its their most expensive phone, its practically brand new and now Im going to be given a used device because mine is faulty.

I have tried everything to solve this problem including factory resets, resetting sim card basically anything I could find on the new. Please give some advice on what I can do. And would they offer me a different phone because I think Im done with this one. Very disappointed in motorlola after how much i loved my x.

Ask for a new sim. You could also think about upgrading to the. 215 leak. It has a more stable radio. There is a link in the root section but you dont have to be rooted.

you could to see if they'll give you a new sim card to try. that has helped for some people. If not then yeah if your out of the 14 days then you're going to get a refurb. Personally Refurbs don't bother me.

I just got a refurb and it's as good or better than the phone it replaced. Seriously, I wouldn't worry about that.

If you aren't happy with your device. Call VZW and have them replace it. You will get a "Like New" refurbished device. I have gotten several over my 10+ years with VZ. I have gotten LNRD's that I have sent back the same day I get them and I have had some that have lasted a long time. It is all the luck of the draw. But the good thing about VZW is they have great customer service and will make things right.
