Hi guys, first post here so hey!!

I'm in a pickle, I wonder if anyone could shed some light..

So I followed a guide to rooting my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) using 6.0.1 Marshmellow - Using Odin & SpaceX-Kernel_MM_RC1_G920F.tar I found using a video (not linked as to ensure no-one else has the same experience as me - if needed to try and assist then I will of course share)

Incase you need further information I have also included the information shown at the top of the Recovery screen

Android Recovery
MMB29K.G920FXXS3DPB2
samsung/zerofltexx/zeroflte
6.0.1/MMB29K/G920FXXS3DPB2
user/release-keys

Everything went smoothly, for me, too smoothly, as nothing for me seems to go 'to plan'... then...

Unfortunately, Print Spooler has stopped responding... then about 20 other things stopped responding, for the sake of giving as much information as possible, below is a full list

Smart Manager
Security Policy Updates
Software Update
MTP Application
DiagMonAgent
DeviceKeystring
tuiService
Beaming Service
SysScope
Contacts
S Planner
Samsung SetupWizard
DeviceTest
Gear VR Service
Settings
Contacts Storage
Settings Receiver
Email
Download Manager
CMHProvider
OM Customize
SilentLogging
Mobile tracker
System UI
PopupuiReceiver
Print Spooler

I've tried to go into the loader (vol up & home & power) and wipe the cache partition but that didn't make a difference..

I've gone in via safe mode & all the parts keep crashing, I'm wondering if anyone has come across this problem or can possibly help me rectify please?

All help as mentioned is truly appreciated guys, so thank you all so much in advance

Just as a test I can still receive phone calls etc, Google Play Store and other apps try to open then just close (within 1s or so)

Infact I dont think I'm out of the woods, lastnight after rebooting the phone a couple of times to see if that stopped the crashes, it got stuck on the Samsung logo - just flashed the stock firmware and its still stuck on it?

Any thoughts please?

If you can still get into download mode and you have your device Serial Number you can try Smart Switch to reflash the firmware. It will use Samsung service files and the two step verification, model and SN,selects the correct firmware. SN should be on box if you still have it.
1- Open Smart Switch and click on more.
2- Select Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization.
3- Select Device Initialization
4- Enter device info ( model number)
5- Enter SN and click OK.
6- Follow rest of prompts.

I finally got it working using the above steps actually, well using Kies...

I'm looking for a new rom now that works with 6.0.1 mm (G920FXX53DPB2) (EE - UK) do you recommend any?

Many thanks in advance guys

Never held a S6 and haven't had good luck helping with international version of Samsung devices. Are you looking for custom ROM or stock?
From what I understand, if your phone is not carrier locked, the stock ROM that you have should work with any UK carrier as long as your APN settings are correct. You just wouldn't have anything extra( bloat) that the carrier adds to the ROM.
Some prefer to run generic UK version to avoid carrier bloat.

As for a root method. I would try looking at XDA. I would trust anything there or here before anywhere else.

Custom rom's look more appealing, mainly for the RAM savings, am I correct in saying custom rom's would render the device rooted anyways?

Thanks again for your help

That is a deodexed custom Touchwiz based rom. Should work for your phone. Root instructions also in instructions using CF Autoroot.
Best advice I can give is to read the thread. I know it's long but you will find out all problems people have had and solutions. Good things to know before you begin.
Now that you know how to return to stock you should be set if something goes wrong and you can still get into download mode.

is there any way of backup up my BL & CP as im going to be trying to use theirs? just incase it goes wrong? or will kies/switch restore those too?

Many thanks

Busy at work today. I'll look over ROM thread a little better this evening. Main things to look for is custom recovery, will let you make backup of stock ROM. Backups are your best friend.
Not sure what you mean by BL & CP? Bootloader?
Kies will return you back to stock as long as nothing fried on motherboard and you can connect in download mode.

Lots of choices with that ROM. Make sure to take notes of everything selected with Aroma installer in case you want to reflash and make changes. You are already on 6.0 so you have up to date bootloader and modem. Post 3 covers root method and TWRP recovery. Make backup first thing after root and recovery installation.
I would also copy backup to PC or flash drive.

As with everything in life, you assume the risk.
When in doubt, ask.
Good luck and happy flashing.
