Please help me install apk

I have downloaded the flash player apk file. When i click install, it looks like its going through, but then i get "application not installed"

What am i doing wrong?

I have a samsung galaxy ace

Android version 2.2.1
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf root@SEI-30#1

AFAIK you have an ARMv6 CPU, which isn't supported by some applications, most notably Firefox and Flash.

doesnt skyfire have flash? I tried it but its not working on there either.

Skyfire is as far as I remember a proxy web client, like Opera Mini... so whatever Flash support it has will probably be tuned to specific (popular) sites...
