Please help me remember this RPG game

Newbie
I played a little bit of an Android RPG game about a year ago and I want to play it again but, for the life of me, I can't remember the name. I spent an entire night trying to find it on the Play store and in several lists of Android RPG games, but failed. Finally I decided to take the help of fellow Android users.

Let me describe the game as best as I can.

1. It's a 3D RPG game.

2. It looked very much like Arcane Legends, especially the hero. He looked large and top-heavy like the Warrior in Arcane Legends.

3. The game starts with the player's character/hero on a ship in the ocean.

4. After the hero arrives he finds the village/town under attack by monsters.

5. I think the game had "tap-to-move" feature, i.e. you tap and your character goes there.

That's about all I can remember. And oh, I remember someone commenting that the game looks like Torchlight.

Does any of these ring a bell with anyome? I'd really love to play that game again, this time to completion.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, mage and minions? I might be wrong though since there isn't enough to really identify that game you're describing. If you can remember more then I might be able to help since I played a lot of games on android.

Hey Jhayzone! Thanks for replying. Let me try and remember more about the game.

Its was about 600 MB in size. The hero looked big and top-heavy like the Warrior in Arcane Legends. The name was simpler than "Mage and Minions". I'm not sure but I have faint memories about " Soul " being in the name (I could be wrong).

It's really frustrating because the game looked really polished compared to the kind of games we're used to seeing on mobile. I just can't understand why it isn't more popular.

I'll try too look for it but in the meantime if you used the same google account now and when you last played it the game should be on your google playstore account under my apps->all.

One last question to ease up the search, is it an online game or offline?

The part I played was an offline campaign but it's likely that the game had an online component.

As for the Google Play account, I deleted it a long time ago, so the app history isn't an option anymore.

Anyway, I'm continuing the search in a "brute-force" kinda way. I'll post here if I find it. Maybe you'll like it too :).

Sure, if it makes you wanna play it again after all this time then I can only assure that its a quality game. Meanwhile I'll try to look around for it myself. Good luck. ;)

EDIT:

Is it battlestone by zynga? Its not available on playstore now.

I found it!!!!!!!!!

Spirit Lords!!!!!

I only played like 5 minutes or less of the game, so I might be very wrong about how good I think the game is.

According to Touch Arcade, "Daniel Erickson, lead designer on Star Wars: The Old Republic and Phil Shenk, lead character artist on Diablo 2 , played significant roles in the creation of this game. Additionally, Kabam wanted this to be what they term "white hat" free-to-play , where you can earn all loot through normal gameplay. What they've made is a solid action-RPG, with good touch controls, and a monetization system that can provide hours of play at no cost, but demands lots of grinding to be powerful." Sounds good to me!

Let me know if you guys like this game. Enjoy!

Lol, that game. I'd been wanting to play that game for a while now but can't see myself to try it. Can you play that with no internet connection?

I'm not sure. I can't play the game right now but I'll let you know when I can. Or you could just go ahead and try it because it's free.
