Root please help me root my Rush! :(

I bought this phone toward the end of may just getting back from Afghanistan. It did a complete system upgrade a few days after I got it and I wasn't able to root the phone at the time before the upgrade and now I've tired to root the phone dozens of times to no evail. I'm wondering if the update might have something to do with hit. I've followed the steps in the guide to a "T" and nothing... is there a way to roll back the upgrade and try to see if that will work? Please any help with this would make me so happy! I'm at my wit's end here :(

Lol I had the same problem rooting my 2nd one three days ago.

Here is how you fix this

I believe you can't get clockworkmod to stick?

If so, flash it again,
At the end of the flash, don't let the phone reboot, (unpug from computer & pull the battery)
Put battery back in then boot into clockworkmod, and flash the root.zip

Im having a similar problem. My Rush is running android 4.1.2 and have tried to install ClockWorkMod and Superuser using Odin v3.04. When i "install/flash" CWM Odin gives me a confirmation and the phone reboots like normal but when i try to go into recovery mode it brings me back to the stock android recovery and not CWM. I'll try this battery pull method and report back on what happens.

make sure you uncheck the auto reboot box as well it took me a bunch of times to get it to boot in to CWM i must of flashed it 10 times b4 it finally worked just keep at it hold the vol button 1st and then do the power hold the vol button and the power in till it goes into recovery or what ever it decides to boot into

It worked for me the second time, first time didn't work, but I remembered shabbypenguin said something about pulling the battery right after flashing with odin3 if your on 4.1.2, and you let the phone boot, it is going to erase cwmr and put stock recovery back!
So Once Odin says "PASSED!" Pop the battery out and unplug the usb cable!
At this moment now, cwmr is on your phone, so put the battery back in the phone and boot into it now (vol+ & power button at the same time) flash root zip, and then reboot to system, the next time you boot into cwmr it should still be there, and stay there
This has worked on 3 different rush's
My first & second one, my little brother's & soon my wife's:thumbup: good luck

Hey i tried what you said and it worked! Thanks again, if it weren't for turtle187 and K Rize i would've probably thrown my phone at my wall out of frustration! haha but no seriously thanks again guys

Tried the battery pull method about 8 times now, and still not having any success. In fact, my phone seems stubborn and doesn't want to boot into CWM OR stock recovery. I'm not sure why? Anyone else having this issue?

Meanwhile, I shall continue trying...
