please help my battery

Hi there.
I have a Samsung S3. And am quite happy with it. It is around one year old. But I am having serious problems with my battery.
What I mean by thus is. It takes all night to charge up. And sometimes even longer.
And the battery runs down very quickly.
I lock down apps that i am not using. So have no idea why it is dying so quixkly.

Ideas anyone?

Is there a heating pronlem during discharge?
Try other battery first
Mime is same i replace battery problem solve

I have a problem with it takes many hours to charge but it holds its charge,So im sending it in to be looked at,As ive allready got a new battery.
