Hey all. Normally I wouldn't ask things like this because I consider it a bit on the SPAM side. Or at least mildly annoying. But I'm gonna ask anyways.
I'm asking for people to vote for a band called Gunship Radio in Charter's Center Stage contest. The long and short of it is that Charter is holding a contest wherein anybody can vote for bands and the winner will get to open for Panic! at the Disco at a show in Wisconsin in October.
The only reason I'm asking for people to help out is because, aside from being awesome (as can be seen in their videos), they've been very good to my band. They've mentored us and asked us to open several times for them at their shows. So I'm trying to help them out in turn. IMO, these guys deserve every bit of success they may come to achieve and I'd love to help them reach the next level. To vote you do have to register, but the only information they ask for is name, address, and email; but you can opt out of receiving emails from Charter so that you don't get spammed. As a plus, when you vote you're automatically registered in sweepstakes to win some prizes (which actually are pretty damn good). You can vote once per day, but one vote is all I'm asking.
