So I really need help rooting my Verizon Droid RAZR Maxx. I'm running android version 4.1.2. I wan't to root it so I can install custom roms. I'm using a 2012 MacBook Pro.
This is the method I used and it was SUPER easy, took less then 10 minutes! The one piece of advise I wld share is if u have set anything up at all on smart actions, u will need to either clear all the data in it, or uninstall and reinstall it, as this method needs a fresh untouched version of smart actions!If you're running the OTA version of 4.1.2, You might try the Razr Blade root utility demonstrated in the video link below. Then I'd get some safestrap....
