Please HELP! This is my last resort!

I had a AT&T pre-paid Go Phone (Android) given to me and there was so Sim card in it. After talking to AT&T customer service for hours, they told me to go buy a cheap go phone and use that sim card. I did that and it is still saying "No Sim Card" I've turned it off for 10 minutes and turned it back on. No luck. I've restored it to factory settings. No luck. I've cleaned the NEW SIM CARD and still no luck! Is it that I need a certain Go Phone sim card? I got this new one from a non-smart phone and I'm trying to use it now in my used Go Phone Smartphone.

Please help! :afraid: Any appropriate advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to AF. :)

It's possible that it's not the correct SIM.
I would call them and demand the right one from them.

The sim card needs to be provisioned for a smartphone, which yours isn't. When you do talk to their customer service, make sure they know that you need a sim card for a smartphone. Hope this helps!
