Please help! TV Box turns off TV

Hello everyone,

We are new to the Android TV and just purchased a mxq. It is connected to a Samsung UN4600 smart TV. For some reason, seems random, the TV will turn off, and most times will turn back on, without our intervention. It is connected via HDMI and the setting is on HDMI pass-through. I have checked settings in the TV and searched in the box and I cannot figure out what is causing this?

hum, interesting reads on you have sent me. ...

If this was an issue from Intel's copywright protection, I would think I would either have video or not have video. Unsure on how that plays out.

This issue is random and intermittent. It doesn't only happen when I do this ... it happens randomly, scrolling through menus, watching genesis streams, kodi streams, scrolling through settings ...

I just bought my box today and it keeps knocking off my tv every 5 mins or so. Everything is working fine apart from this.

This worked for me:

There is a HDMI feature that allows your devices to communicate. Many companies have self-named it, I think the base name is HDMI-cec. I enabled this on the TV, the receiver and the mxq. Solved my problem!

Thanks shootist2004, your direction lead me the resolve! ☺

Cec is called AnyNet on Samsung. I have the same problem, and have not been able to solve it yet. (Idroidnation 168G box connected to a Samsung too-smart TV with an HDMI cable.
