Please help!

i have a rogers HTC dream it was running 1.5 (unrooted) today io decided
to root it. i hadnt gotten so far before. but now i am stuck with the t-
mobile firmware and it is causing me not to be able to connect to my data,
so i cant get passed the goole sign in page, help me....this is really bad

What do you mean by stuck with the T-Mobile FW? Did you finish the root process or are you still in the middle of doing everything? What was the last step you completed?

i am in the middle, except i cant complete the root because it wont let me sing in, i am in canada, with rogers, not in the US with T-mobile, so it wont connect to the data connection, how do i put the rogers FW back on, just fix everything so i can try again.
there is a HTC Dream root process
there is a G1 root process. the filre are exactly the same. i just want Debian on my phone.
