Help please help

my phone crashed then after 2 days of being off it started working again and now i cant light up the screen while im in a call so i cant do anything.. can any1 help me?

There is a proximity sensor on the screen so when you hold the phone close to your face (when talking) the screen becomes unavailable (dark and buttons don't work) so you won't push a button with your cheek. However, when you move away from your face, the screen should become active again. Are you using any kid of screen protector that might inhibit the sensor?

when i pull it away nothing happends.. and all i have on my screen is my screen protector " the kind that sticks to the screen"

Well, your screen "protector" may be causing this. You might search around to verify but that could be it.
