Please how to root Timmy M50 with factory malware

Lurker
Hello, I have a Timmy M50 with 3 factory malwares (detected with Dr.Web antivirus):
Android.Downloader.561.origin in /system/priv-app/MediaService/oat/arm/MediaServce.odex
Android.Mobifun.14 in /system/priv-app/com.android.telephone/com.android.telephone.apk
Android.Mobifun.14 in /system/priv-app/com.android.telephone/arm/com.android.telephone.odex

It seems this phone is impossible to root. I unlocked the bootloader (there's an option in settings), then I tried the following software:
- Cydia Impactor
- MTK Droid Tool
- Root Genius (pc & apk)
- 360root
- Baidu Root (v1.0 and v2.86)
- iRoot (1.8.9)
- Kingoroot (pc & apk)
- Kingroot (px & apk)
- OneClickRoot
- SRSRoot

No one can root my Timmy M50. Any suggestion? I need to remove these malwares!
Thank you

Hmm... maybe. Other antivirus softwares don't report any threat.
But then why I have popups on WhatsApp?? It's quite strange, as far as I know there are no popups in WhatsApp.
Plus, I read that many Chinese phones come with pre-installed malware, look at here: https://news.drweb.com/show/?i=11749&c=5&lng=en&p=0 (over 40 models of smartphones were already identified containing malware)

I'd be leary of claims Dr. Web is telling you in order to get you to use their service. ;) I'd look for third party verification of their list. I don't know drweb from a hole in the wall, but snake oil salesman survive by telling you all the ills you have and what's that, you say, we have this here elixer to make them all go away.

FWIW, I do trust malwarebytes to check for installed apps that are bad.

Instead of focusing on rooting your phone, you might want to approach this from a different angle and re-flash the ROM. Since those exploits are apparently integrated into your phone's OS (system/priv-app) even if you were to root it that does not necessarily mean you can successfully clean out them out. Flashing the stock ROM will replace the operating system, including whichever system services that may or may not be compromised.

Be sure to back up all your personal files, browser bookmarks, etc. and anything you have stored only on your phone before flashing the ROM. With older Samsung's flashing a stock ROM would not affect the data partition (when done properly) but when it involves other manufacturer's, some do and some don't wipe everything and I have no clue as to whether this also applies to Timmy phones. Whatever the case it's always better to have a backup solution implemented anyway.

Hello, I tried to flash it by following all instructions step-by-step, but now my phone is unusable. :(
The only difference in configuration while flashing is that I received an error (after pressing 'download') saying that I had to use the "format all + download" option. Then it started flashing but when I try to turn it on the flashlight flashes three times, the screen doesn't turn on and I hear the startup sound. Nothing else.
I tried also to use the imei fix utility, it fails (see images). What else can I try?
Thanks

No experience with Timmy phones nor with that 'Smart Phone Flash Tool' utility so it's not possible to be definitive about this but by using 'Format all and Download' instead of just the recommended 'Download' is a probable explanation as to what happened.
Hopefully someone familiar with one or both will comment on a possible solution for you.

Hello, thanks for answering.
I literally tired to flash every M50 rom I found on the net (over fifteen firmwares). Some leave a dead phone, some others boot and the display turns on, but always with a black screen. I think it's a problem with the gpu driver integrated into the roms (Mali T-720).
I tired with all possible settings in SPtool (latest vesrion): Download, Format All + Download, Firmware.

What I think it's very strange it that the majority of firmwares I tried are official ones, so I really don't understand this behavior.

One of my last chances is to find someone that owns a Timmy M50 and that can send me his firmware to me. I read somewhere that in order to solve this problem a guy had to buy another identical phone and copied the firmware on the old one successfully restoring it.

Or maybe that someone firmware expert can guide me in the right direction... please!

It could just be a matter where opting for 'Format all and Download' essentially bricked your phone. Hope that's not the case but when it comes to experimenting with alternative settings in a flashing utility that's not an out of the ordinary situation.

@Hoshide
Trying to get rid of annoying popups and browserstarts I lately flashed the same ROM shown in your post with the same result :-(
Very sad, that more than 10 month later I can find no solution in the web...
