my mom took my phone and when she was going to give it back, she forgot where to put it and she said she shut it downso i cant locate it.

I don't want to be mean, but there's really nothing that a bunch of strangers on the internet can do here. If the phone is off there is no trick that will let you communicate with it. All you can do is the old-fashioned way of looking everywhere she has been since she took it.

Will Google's "Find my device" show the last know location? Of course that probably will just show your house, but at least you'll know it's inside somewhere.
