Help Plugged Phone In to Charge and It Didn't Charge

Phone was at 40% battery at midnight last night. I turned my phone off then plugged my phone in to charge. I wake up at 10:30 this morning, and boot my phone up. I check my Twitter and Facebook and I didn't notice until about 10 minutes later that my phone was still at 40% even though it was plugged in to charge for over 10 hours. WTF?

I'm gonna need it later tonight so I guess I'll plug it in (again) now to see if it'll actually charge. Anyone have this issue before?

I have had this happen once. I think I might not have had the plug all the way pushed in. Only happened once.

Also, make sure it is charger for the phone. Not a generic one. My Motorola Droid charger charged my daughters old EnV2, but her charger didn't charge my Droid...

I don't keep track of which charger goes to which phone anymore. They all work.

I have to agree, I have the nexus charger charging up my MAXX and it works great. I don't have the nexus anymore, but it has a really long charging and transfer cord!
