Help Plus ( + ) symbols on home screen

I have + symbols in a grid pattern on my home screen and 2 other screens, but not on all of them. Some of the screens are completely blank without widgets/shortcuts/icons and others not. They appear in a grid 3 across by 4 high. Any ideas what they are or how to get rid of them? Thanks.

Are you in edit mode?

Try pressing back a few times.

I agree with ZplosiV. Sounds like to are in edit mode. The + means you can add additional home screens.

Pressing back didn't work, but doing what I should have done in the first place before posting did...powered off and then on again. That seems to have fixed it. I haven't had this happen before with any of my other phones. Completely weird.

Thanks WhynotV2. Also had a grid of plus signs in between all the main screen icons but not on the other 2 pages of icons. I was trying to click on them to what happens and when they did not respond, I wanted them out. I too never think of restarting.
