Does anyone know about a podcasting app that uses the default music player? I have used a paid version of doggcatcher and now I have the paid version of acast. Loved both apps but it annoys the hell out of me that the headset's button randomly starts music or podcast depending on its mood. Acast can even deal with music in my folders (though not entirely ideal).
For the longest time I was able to overcome the problem by using dpod that used the default music player. But dpod is removed from the market, it is not developed anymore and bugs started to emerge with every Android update (useing Nexus One.)
One solution I found is to rename the music folder to start with . because the music player can't see it then. I have not tried to see if I can add it to ACast to play under these circumstances. But I really would prefer a less ghetto solution. If I could completely disable the default Muisc app, that would go a long way as well.
