Hi all,
The main reasons I bought a smartphone was to have a satnav type navigation system, and a podcast system. Now, the issue seems to be that I cannot do these both at the same time.
When I'm driving and listening to a podcast, if I start navigation the podcast audio will stop, either immediately or at some other random point.
This is not limited to one particular podcatcher, satnav app, or combination thereof. So far I have tried Podcast Republic and BeyondPod for podcatchers, and Google Navigation, NavFree and MapFactor Navigator. All of them cause the audio to stop playing almost immediately, with the exception of MapFactor, which has only cut out once.
This is now driving me quite insane, can someone please advise what I should do to resolve this.
