Podcatcher that works with Authenticated Feeds?

Hey all, did a quick search and didn't really find any information out there so figured I would ask.

Essentially, I am looking for a podcatcher that will work with casts requiring authentication (HTTPS). I have several classes I would like to grab the feeds for, but require a login/password and none of the podcatchers I have tried work (Listen, DoggCatcher...etc).

Does anyone have any ideas? It doesn't have to be fancy, I just want something to listen to lectures on while on the fly and not have to worry about constantly syncing with a computer.

Thanks for any ideas!

Yes, I have some info for you, but I'm not certain, so will also provide you a way to find out more.

I'm a podcaster newbie, and only recently downloaded DoggCatcher. I'm quite happy with it. Although i don't use any authenticated feeds at present, DoggCatcher does have a feed-specific, customer-configurable field that allows the user to specify a 'user id' and a 'password' for that particular feed.

DoggCatcher is very well supported, and I would be fairly sure they are using industry standard approaches for such things.

However, you don't have to take it from me. A user named 'eric-doggcatcher' has been active recently on another post. I'm certain he could answer your question directly.

Cheers.

Thanks for the tip.

I did buy DC, but didn't see what you are talking about. I will investigate it further and see what I find.

Thanks again -

Sure enough, Dogg Catcher had exactly what I was looking for. I never noticed that the manual entry page for the feeds was scrollable!

Awesome, it was already my favorite podcatcher - now it's definitely the only one I need. Well worth the money.
