For a 4th year entrepreneurship class study...

If you were a smalltime mobile app developer, would you be interested in a service that allowed you to port your application to another platform (one or more of apple/android/blackberry/WM/PalmOS) without you requiring more resources, tools and knowledge, to generate more revenue?

If yes please select the option that states which pricing plan you prefer.

(poll is also located at Porting Mobile Apps to New Platforms Survey)

I voted no; I would like to retain control (and make dead sure the functionality is exactly what I intend, esp. as some features and user interfaces will need to be adapted for the new platform).

Also, I can't help wondering if there's really a market for porting (say, Android) apps to the PalmOS platform ... or did you mean to suggest the other way around?

*bump*

and the intention was that for smalltime developers who might not have the resources (time, money, tools, skills, knowledge) who want to break into one of the new markets (any of the ones listed) can take advantage of this.

thanks for the response. its a valid concern, regarding regaining control.
