hi all

i would love a new feature for smart keyboard, so that when it auto corrects a word, it alerts you - either by tone or vibrate

anyone else keen on this ? trying to get interest to nudge the dev ;)

erm....not sure how to set up a poll :/

cheers
dan

I think this is a good idea, except that since I make a ton of mistakes I'd be vibrating or dinging off the hook! Although I do feel like the on screen notifications are lacking.

hi
:-D yes I know the feeling

maybe I should add option for a visual alert too ?

cheers

another good reason why i love my physical qwerty keyboard. but while using touch screen, yeah, i would like that alert.

I for one would like this feature if it'll come with another feature: don't auto correct - just put the suggestion and vibrate so I can click on the suggested correction if I want to. The vibration will help me realize there's a suggestion so I'll know to check it and decide.

@alltoany - yes that is another good idea - i often find it has corrected words that i didnt want altering - cheers

hi all

when it auto corrects a word, it alerts you - either by tone or vibrate

On the iPhone, you can actually turn on VOICE to READ the autocorrected word, which is great when alone and typing... less so when in public. A tone would be great. I really need auto-correct, but I hate it. I wish it was just a bit smarter, like IF I DELAY, don't auto-correct. I SEE THE RIGHT WORD, I pause, and it doesn't change it to something totally different. I've had the phone for 6 months and still can't get used to WATCHING it change all my words. I've had some bad bad posts get out.
