Poor audio quality in videos on LG Fiesta LTE 2

Hi;
I am quite impressed with the photo and video quality on this phone, but the audio quality in the videos is terrible - sounds like an 8-bit ADC like the old days.
Any advice?

Thanks
FW

Is it loud audio, like at a concert, a nightclub, a rave or something, and possibly it's overloading the mic?

Suggest you post a sample video, so we might have a better idea of what's wrong, and possibly give you better advice

Not loud. Outdoors. The audio sounds kind of like how my (older) Olympus voice recorder sounds when I use the lowest quality (longest recording time) setting.
Perhaps it's the mic in the phone? Could I get an external mic for the Fiesta?

I have uploaded two .mp3 files, created in Reaper (DAW) from the .mp4 video.
After saving a portion of the audio in Reaper, I rendered it as a .flac file, then converted to .mp3 (320Kbps) in Foobar2000.

The audio is from an LG Fiesta, not a Fiesta 2, but I get exactly the same quality on the 2 as I did on the original Fiesta. I don't believe LG made any changes in audio or video quality between the Fiesta and the Fiesta 2. Both phones were on the TracFone plan.

The file named "audio from train video LG Fiesta... was recorded on my older model LG Fiesta, but the quality is the same as the Fiesta 2.
The second file "audio from Moto E..." was recorded in 2015 on my Moto E phone.
Note that the audio quality on the Moto E was much better, although the video quality on that phone doesn't compare to the LG Fiesta.
