poor call quality?

noticed this a few times recently ... only made 3 calls!

person im talking to sounds quite distorted in speaker during call

known issue?

That could be anything, from poor cell reception on your device or the other party, them too close to the microphone while talking...

hi - yes true - just a bit spooked as phone new and most of the calls have sounded poor :/
.....have noticed that network bars are on low side

Seems your not the only one having such issues with the OnePlus 7T.

Tey removing the phone case and see tou notice an improvement.

just had a decent quality call! yay! ... this was a landline at other end .... so issue might be limited to mobile to mobile :/

recent change to force 3g calling seems better.....looks like there is know issue reported by 3 actually with using 4g calling/switching
