Poor gaming experience on my s10 plus (the snapdragon variant)

Hello there,
I have the s10 plus (SD855 Variant, G9750 Of China). It is supposed to run the high-graphics games smoothly but unfortunately that's not the case here. I have so plus (SD845) and it runs games like asphalt 9, pubg, modern combat 5 way better than the s10!5 also, I noticed I can't find the high quality setting in asphalt 9 unlike the so plus, I can run the game on high graphic settings! Do i have a problem with my device? Is it possible to have a GPU problem in a brand new device? I have reset the device and reinstalled the games again and turned the game launcher on beside setting the screen resolution to the full HD but non of the above mentioned methods seems to be working.

Is it the Hong Kong/Macau or mainland PRC variant you've got there? Which both have Qualcomm Snapdragon. Does it have Google Play etc, or does it have Baidu Apps, which installs the mainland PRC versions of PUBG, Asphalt, Modern Combat, etc.? And if it's the latter, are you in China?

I'm in China, and the only mainland PRC variant Samsung I had was a Galaxy Note7. Which obviously I didn't keep for very long.

Thanks for your response. I have the Hong Kong version Indeed and yes it has Google play from which I installed all.the apps. A friend bought this device from Hong Kong since we have the exynos version in my region. I thought the G9750 variant is released to both China and Hong Kong.

It is, but there's a different ROM on them. Hong Kong has Google, mainland China has Baidu services instead. Don't know about your games though, as you do have the HK with Google variant. Was it factory reset to defaults when you first got the phone?

I know there has been some reported problems on AF with PUBG been laggy on Exynos variant S10s.
