I have samsung s3 and pair it to a bose soundlink mini and the sound is fantastic (relatively speaking).
I paired the note pro to the same speaker and it sounds rubbish. I can't tell the difference between spotify normal and extreme on the note but I can on the s3.
I also have a generic android tab from Tesco and that sounds the same as as the note when paired.
There reason why the tesco sounds poorer is because the S3 has apt-x and the tesco HUDL doesnt. (as an aside - the DAC in the hudl is better than s3 actually too).
However the note is also supposed to have apt-x. How can I tell if it's running apt-x okay? Has anyone else noticed it not too good via bluetooth?
